Starting a Refleks heater question.

Ah a very very good heater i have a taylors which is drip feed and smaller.Starting any heaters fun !! be prepared .With a reflex as with the taylors you pour in a little alcohol,not to much or the thing will look as if its going to melt!!mines been white hot!!
depending on which reflex you have you may be able to use a fire lighter otherwise you will have to pull out the nail thing at the bottem and use a plastic bottel with a long thin tube to squert the alcohol in then light it with a match or several if they go out
when mines difficult i heat the bottem of the burner with a blow lamp then squirt the alcohol in and put a mach to the hole standing back it normaly explodes into life! mind your fingers as a jet of flame 20cms or so shoots out as you the walm alcohol

That sounds a bit like my only experience having a second go with meths. I hatenot being able to see inside, and although the ful is in the "on" position I don't know how to tell if it's getting through. I think I shall have to take it to pieces.
