Standard Horizon Plotter & VHF

I have that model VHF on a sailing yacht, with the optional control microphone in the cockpit. Its an excellent choice for a reasonable price DSC VHF. If you have a boat with two helm positions or a flybridge, get the remote mike.

I,ve got both on my boat and both seem to work very well.

I had Navman on the last boat and that was also v good.

If you want to come and have a look you're more than welcome

Got the 1500 for my boat with a command mike for outside the wheelhouse and my 180 has a external antenna, lovely bits of kit for the price.
Got all my kit from Marine discount services
180e with free local Cmap NTmax £257
GX1500E with cbm25 command mike £142

Re: Standard Horizon Plotter & VHF

Yes I did, with a bit of help from a mate who's handy with a jig saw! It really goes against the grain for me to cut a hole in a boat /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
