I've had this handset for a few years now but the manual has gone astray. I called Standard Horizon's UK office to ask a few questions. The guy I spoke to was brusque and gave the impression that he wasn't all that familiar with my product. Then, when I asked if there was a PDF manual I could download he was curtly dismissive, along the lines of,
'Sorry. Old product. Don't support it anymore. We've no gen.'
He then stole himself to explain that when products go out of production Standard Horizon gets rid of all 'the stuff' relating to them.
Nuff said!
Anyone know where I can download a pdf manual for the HX260E? The only pdf I can find relates to the HX260S, which is somewhat different.

Since writing the above I have found my original manual in a very unusual place, which is why I thought I'd lost it. Meanwhile, I have also received the following reply from Standard Horizon:

I have just seen your post on the YBW forum and I would like to apologise for the poor customer service that you received from us.
This is certainly not how we would normally respond to an enquiry and I'm very disappointed that you received this unhelpful response.
If you would like to send me your address, I will send you a printed copy of the HX260E manual.
I hope that this will go some way to restoring your confidence in our customer service.
