Standard honda four stroke as outboard

Did anyone see on the fishing program where they use a standered engine air cooled ,one of a mixer or wacker ,then they just attach a strait long shaft with a prop on the end and run it at an angle ,no gear box no water cool ,lokked good and easy

Such things are widely used in parts of Asia and Africa, and probably other places. I've been transported up a river in Thailand in one, and they go pretty well.
