Stand-Up Paddle Board advice

I posted previously about our SUP exploding and buying a "robust" board from Decathlon. The Decathlon board developed a large blister after a month or so and they refunded us. I'm in the market for a new board and I want to buy a decent one. Choice is limited here in Türkiye but I'll be in Ireland at Christmas so could buy there or from the UK.
Two things I remember from the previous thread. Posters were recommending welded instead of glued, and there was mention of a "Red" brand.
I want to buy something around 10'6" or 10'8". Preferably I just want a board and fins not all the extras - paddle, pump etc.
Any recommendations welcome please.

BUT... I have a feeling they're all the same these days so a £200 Lidl job might make sense.

Red Paddle are the best inflatable boards by a long way. We’ve had two 12ft touring boards for about 6-7 years now, no issues. They have both been fully inflated all summer.

Agree with the Red Paddle recommendation… had my 10’8” for 7 years, still great..

I think it was probably me that said go welded and go for Red, I think they're far superior. I have a Red and I did have a cheaper glued board, the Red one is 6 years old, the glued one is in the bin.

Don't know how you'll get one without the accessories. Maybe Ebay.

I'll just chip on to say that we bought an Abahub board secondhand a couple of years ago and it's held up well, fully inflated, stored in full sunlight on deck, in the Caribbean.

The advantage I've found with the Red is it's capable of holding 25psi. (Don't know about the Abahub).

So inflate it to 15psi and it's good to go in the sun with no worries. My 3 year old glued board max 15psi was useless at 10psi, had to be atleast 12psi and split in the Floridian sun.

I'm sure there are others that are equally as good as Red, I've just not found them yet.

For Turkey, would a solid SUP be more long lasting and practical than an inflatable one, and plenty of space on the Wild Rover’s cat?

I fear that recommendations of inflatable brands from people in northern climates may be meaningless for Turkey

FYI, I bought and was using my glued together inflatable board in Florida as well as the Solent.

Thanks. Decent quality stuff is scarce here and expensive that's why I'm looking at buying in Ireland or UK to bring back after Christmas. Rigid not an option.

Quite, Red Boards are made in China.

I think it's the type of construction that's important here.
