I have a stainless steel handrail that extends from my radar arch to the flybridge. The tubing on the radar arch is slightly larger in diameter and fits over the flybridge tubing. When I have to lower the radar arch going under low bridges on the Thames, this stainless handrail separates. Now the problem, when I raise the radar arch again, as the two different diameter tubes meet they often but up against each other rather than the smaller tube sliding inside the larger tube.
What I'm after is some kind of 'bullet' type guide that fits in the smaller diameter tube that will allow these two tubes to 'self centre' and slide into each other as I raise the radar arch.
I have tried doing a Google search but can't find any kind of self centering guide as described.
Any thoughts
Glen
