I used these kits with a bench grinder on SS and ally to get a mirror finish.

The tube was already polished but the feet were raw.

Didnt take to long to do in ally or SS

If stainless steel tube or sheet was perfectly level without any crevices created by the manufacturing method, either rolling ot drawing, it would never develop surface staining. In fact it always includes micro fissures that will develop crevice corrosion stains. Abrasive cleaning methods will help to remove these fissures, whereas chemical cleaners will tend to open them and, while in the short term removing the stains, in the long term having a negative effect. Professional stainless steel fabricators use buffing wheels in combination with abrasive media that acts as rapidly as possible to remove fissures and give the longest term bright appearance.
