Stainless steel fabricator//Pref Solent area

I want to get a mizzen mouting made up for my Air-X wind generator, as there appears to virtually nothing available 'off the shelf' I guess I'll have get one made up.

Any one got any recomendations for a fabricator please. (or any other ideas on sourcing a suitable bracket).

Hi Nick, See your getting a wind farm also, Iam pleased with my arogen soon has the batteries charged, I mounted mine on the pushpit so i can tie the blades up when not required, and thought it would be more quiter there than on the mizzen.

Hi David Yes its was a tricky decison which one to go for..I had been comparing price/outputs availability for best part of a year...in the end my wife went to the States for a couple of days and I got the Air-X delivered to her hotel by a US company that advertises on Ebay,,very reasonable and easy in the end.

I cant remember on the Barbary does the Mizzen boom sweep out board of the stern rail? On the Halb it does so the 'tower' would have to be on the outboard end of the dinghy davits...hence the idea of shoving it onto the mizzen mast front edge.

Im hoping that by the time Ive saved the cost of a couple of meters of SS tube it might go some way to covering the cost of the welding etc required !
