Stainless Steel Fabricator in Essex - Help Please

Can anyone recommend a Stainless Steel Fabricator in Essex, hopefully in the Southend, Burnham area?

This is to make up a small plate, in 3mm, as my new autopilot control head is smaller than the cut out of my original flush mount one .

hi, mr stainless, out of titchmarsh, but travels, repaired a bent guard rail on my boat, you would never know it was bent...

If you are in Burnham, I've had small stainless steel bits made up by Huttons on the Springfield trading estate. I just walked in and asked! Entrance is opposite the tip. they do body repairs for cars but small fabrication jobs seem to be okay. failing that, if you drive from burnham to bradwell, you turn left in southminster high street go along and then turn right to follow the road out. at the right turn, virtually opposite you is a small engineering outfit that advertises fabrication.....or at least there used to be! I've also used Duerr engineering next door to travis perkins in burnham. they turned a socket for my autopilot out of a left over piece of stainless shaft i had.

quick correction - the engineering works is there in southminster but you it's on the left about 100yards after you turn right just before the left hand bend towards asheldham
