stainless hinges for p41 lazarette (aft deck)

Where can I get a pair of aft lazarette hunges for a princess 414 they are (from memory) about 2.5 inches square and a flap type, stainless or heavy chrome with countersunk bolt holes.

If possible you could contact the builders of your boat and ask them. Failing that do a Google on 'stainless 316 hinges' or 'stainless hinges' and see what you come up with. I need some heavy duty jobbies for my watertight steel hatchlids and I've found www.afl-birmingham.co.uk who seem to have what I'm looking for. Just waiting to find out how to order. If you need something less robust, the Google should turn up loads of suppliers.

Can't help with exact size but you could try Timage & Co whose catalogue I have somewhere but can't locate at the moment (probably under the 20 years of accumulated PBOs). Tel no. is 01376 343 087. (No website!) They do a good range of marine ss hinges. Also Wickes (the DIY chain) stock some very robust 4" ss hinges ---don't say what grade they are; and, inevitably, Screwfix do too.

Further to my previous response, AFL never replied to my email or answered the phone. I ordered from www.leohardware.com and my hinges were delivered 24 hours later. Their prices were as good as their service.
