I am looking for a stainless steel grab handle to mount on the external corner of a section of carpentry. Needs to be ~ 200 - 300 mm long.

I have searched for such an item, but can't find one.

I am thinking about buying a standard handle, cut the ends off, cut Vee slots in each end and then have a 90o angle bracket welded to each end.

But if someone somewhere sells such a handle I would much appreciate a link.

Is this the sourt of handrail you are looking for

Could use a normal straight tubular hand rail and bent it in the middle with a pipe bender

Would a bar foot rail be like what you are looking for

Any thing here that you could use

Maybe have one made ?

PCUK of these forums does a little stainless work, worth a PM

The flanks of the corner are quite narrow with a removable panel to one face and a door on the other, but I do have 25mm of clear face to one side next to the door. I have found a handle on Ebay which is 22mm OD and is bolt mounted, so I have just enough room to pass bolts through from behind on the door face with the panel removed.

Its just to help me get out of the engine room without hauling on the side of the steering wheel.
