Anybody point me to a company (UK) that can supply stainless fittings for use on a boarding "plank" that I am building (e.g. heavy duty hinges, swivelling wheels, attachment for plank to pushpit coaming).

try these web sites. I've used them before. Can't guarantee they'll stock what you're looking for but some of them carry quite a large range of Stainless Steel fittings and they all do mail order, if that's what you're after.

hi, i wd recommend that you do NOT buy itlain, in this example. Brit manufacturers seem to have better appreciation of the need to do good housekeeping for s/s manufacture of fittings, much better than italian which can go rusty. whoevr makes the bits for fairline i wd use them, they exhibit at shows i think, anyone know who they are?
