What is the best way to clean sails? The main has a raspberry ripple effect caused from pink Sahara dust rain sitting in its folds (I bought the boat with this). I have tried scrubbing with fairy liquid, but the pink streaks still remain.

I used a power washer with detergent on mine last year, brought them up a treat, but don't get too close with it as they are quite powerul. Mind you I didn't have sahara sand embedded in mine.
You might just leave it though, I quite like strawberry ripple!
