The stitching is coming apart on the batten pockets.

Is there an self adhesive tape that will stick to cloth ? I don't think the mylar sail repair tape would work.

Would take it to a sailmaker but that can wait until the winter. Would rather br sailing at the moment.

Stich a patch on, or find someone who can.

Hand sew using the existing holes. Just a simple stitch will do for a few months.

I’ve stuck sail repair tape on and then hand sewn before. The tape doesn’t stick as well as on a sail but on big flat bits it doesn’t stick provide some reinforcement to the worn bits that have burst. Actually duck tape would probably do a stronger but uglier job.

If you did 2-3 layers of duct tape you could probably then have enough meat to stitch through it

Only reason I say that, he's helped us coz both ours have gone also.

When the stitching went on my stackpack I just hand sewed it until I could get it off and on to my sewing machine. Normally the material is fine just the stitching goes.
