ST4000+ new problem

A while back I had an issue where the wheel autopilot kept slipping "off" with the engaging lever, disengaging.

The solution (put by this board, and thank you) was for a new belt which I installed 2 weeks ago and it worked a treat.

However, 2 days later, on autopilot. The motor starts behaving oddly. It doesnt want to turn left, only right.

I'm going to take it off on Thursday and have a look but any suggestions. Is it kaput ?

Try Raymarine service

On my last boat I had a similar problem, I took it to Raymarine (just off the M27, Southsea turning) picked it up a week later for the grand sum of £35. just a thought.
