ST4000+ display gone blank

Autopilot motor started playing up 4-5 weeks ago so i havent used it since then but last week, I looked at the display panel on the binacle and that is dead too. I wanted to have a look at it tomorrow, anyone know why that would be blank (switch panel is definately on) ?
