ST1000 Plus interface with tacktick wind ?

Have not done it but have considered it. You need the Tacktick NMEA box and apparently an NMEA to Seatalk bridge. If i recollect right he ST1000+ cannot read wind date from NMEA it has to be seatalk...but i could be wrong too..

but it does not say it can take wind nmea in

i do have an nmea interface box for the speed from the garmin gps which displays on the tacktick and gives depth from a non tacktick transducer to the gps plotter !

i have e mailed tacktick for the autohelm question

mine works fine with the nasa wind ,makes a nice addition to an already very good product.

many thanks, i could have done with the wind unit interfacing today, a 7 hr sail.

mostly tacking up and down wind.
