In the basin Port Des Bas Sablons does anyone know if yoiu can get 45 foot boat on the finger jetties of the visitors berths???? I seem to remember about 40 foot absolute max!

Also I cant find their e mail address after hours of searching, does anyone have the e mail address??

Bloc Marine Marine say up to 12m ie 39ft but there are some larger boats in there.

I have always found them a pretty unhelpful bunch at Basees Sablons as they prefer you to go into Bassin Vauban through the lock.

It can also be very sloppy and noisy in Basse Sablons depending on the wind directions and ferry times.

Bassin Vauban has the pleasure of marina toilets with no seats, does the power of good for your thigh muscles or you resort to the loo on the boat which I thought the shore loos were trying to get you stop using in port?????

Alternatively 24 hour access near st Malo the new marina St Cast le Guido Which i understand is quite nice.

we have stayed there for a few nights on A pontoon? first pontoon on the entrance with a 47 foot sealine. finger was quite short , so you have to be quite inventive with springs

Got the Phantom 40 in there no real problem - will probably take a 45' - just.
Very uncomfortable berth though. Fingers very springy, noise from ferries, swell coming in from any wind when water over the cill. Will not be going back there.
