St.Malo at Xmas?

While I was in the office at Bray Marina today I picked up a leaflet about a short Pre-Xmas cruise to St.Malo.

Has anyone been there, is it any good for Xmas shopping?

More importantly, are any forumites going? (Could be a good opportunity for a forum p*ss up/ meet.)

Have been there, old walled town/city. Shops tend to be knicky knacky noo if you know what i mean.

You will be able to buy lots of lace doilies for your Broom owning mates!!

However eating and drinking very good!!

Is this a MDL only trip or can anyone join in?

The trip is in Brittany ferries flagship "Pont Aven". car goes free with 2 passengers.
