Hi .. has anyone had any issues with st kats .. we have been turned away with the bridge being broken ??

We're in St Kats at the moment, expected to depart on Sunday. Just received a message that the lock will be out of action until Tue 31st. Been stuck in worse places.

Apparently a major fault with parts needed to be sourced and supplied. Possibly a crane needed. I guess this is all fairly difficult to arrange over a Bank Holiday weekend.

Bridge now being held open by a crane, in order to allow their boat festival to run this weekend, apparently.

I did go there today . Stunning boats .. they said the classic boats would be leaving on Monday .. I replied “ can I use the return lock” this was met with nothing concrete .. bit disappointing really .
