This image shows the arrangement of toggle and loop that is fitted to the Crewsaver sprayhood and pouch that I recently purchased.
As supplied the toggle was firmly knotted to the loop - should it be left like this in use? Obviously one needs to be happy that if you fumble and drop the hood (eg with cold hands) whilst trying to fit it, it isnt going to drift away; on the other hand it might be prudent to be able to release it relatively easily in a hurry?
For those unfamiliar with this, the pouch has a sewn on belt loop so it can be fitted to the lifejacket harness
Any thoughts?
