Does anyone know of a sprayhood fitter?
We have bought a C+J Sigma sprayhood purchased at SIB's and need it to be fitted. This requires the fittings etc as this is the first sprayhood for this boat. Not sure if politically I can go to a local sprayhood manufacturer and ask if they will fit a third party product or whether I am being too sensitive? Or does anyone know of an independent fitter who would install a brand new frame , fittings and canvas?
Thanks in advance for any leads on this one.

Trouble is they're all very busy this time of year fitting ones they've made but sail and cover at Woolverstone are very good and they have a chap who travels to local yards a lot. Also try Suffolk Sails but Simon is very, very busy because he's good. I had real issues with Jeckells sprayhoods (no connection to the excellent sailmakers) who carried out a dangerous installation and refused to correct it.

Re read benw post very carefully

I did the first time and to humour you I have again and reach the same conclusion. Foxes are not a 'local spray hood manufacturer' but in this case a manufacturers agent. They do supply and fit C&J products however but I do not see that as an obstacle to the op's seeking their advice or services.
As it turns out the op has gone to Sail and Cover, who's services I have recommended in the past, who are a 'local spray hood manufacturer' and who, for that very reason I did not suggest in the first place.

Oops, roflmao, just spotted the boat is a Sigma, repeat 100 times "I must read more carefully"
