Spray hood makers

Looks like my spray hood has reached the end of its natural. Pain really, I only put it up when the water really is coming over the top, or to keep the sun off, when tied up.

Anyway, any recommendations as to where to get one on the east coast at a sensible price?

I'd be interested as well. My current sprayhood is from Tecsew, and a new one is £700. Mind you it is superb quality and I have seen others that are inferior. You get what you pay for, but £700 is a heck of a lot of money...
Also any recommendations for a stack pack main cover ?

We were being fried in the cockpit during our August cruise a couple of weeks ago and needed some sort of boom tent. Have a stackpack with lazy jacks so needed something a bit more custom than a simple sheet or tarp. I phoned S&C and they were round at 9:30 in the morning at Ipswich and by the time we'd sailed down the Orwell to RHYC at 3PM it was all finished.

Very pleased with the result too.

Talked informally about sprayhoods with them and the prices for a small Leisure 23SL were much lower than others I'd tried before so may well go with them for one of those for next season - it depends on the size of your boat of course but for ours they were talking about £4-500 (tubework extra but not outlandish).

Recently broke mine, went to a couple of people for quotes, Only Parker & Kay came back, their price was in the same ball park as research on internet suggested, & tho they gave a six to eight week lead time, they did a free temp repair on the old one while I wait. Prompt and efficient so far, results in September, but have spoke with other pleased clients

I had one made by Quay Sails at Poole despite the fact that I too live in Kent. One of the owners has relation in Medway so visits occasionally and they don't mind at all travelling to your area to measure up.
They are cheaper than most and we are absolutely delighted with the result.
