I've just purchased an Orkney longliner with cuddy and would like to change it to a spray dodger, they are very hard to come-by second hand and expensive to buy new. Consequently I have decided to make my own frame, does anyone have the dimensions of the frame, tube sizes etc. or know where the fittings can be purchased? The cover isn't too much of a problem, but I would like to make the sizes as close to the original as I can.
Ideally I would like to be able to have a good look at one on a longliner and take some measurements, I am based in York, if anyone has one and wouldn't mind me taking a few pictures/notes that would be most helpful.

Thanks

David

www.seascrew.com as another supplier of bits. Be aware that although it looks superficially easy to make your own, it is not. That is why they appear expensive to have made - there is a lot of work and skill involved in making one and getting it to fit well and look good.
