Spotty5 has a new master and mistress.

Looks fantastic

Lots of new boats for various forumites this year

Your quick sale just goes to show that a honestly described, clean, well priced boat will sell

.... threw me for a short while .... so not a 52CMY as I initially thought, but a 48CMY ... Very nice !!

Nice and compact lumps the V6's ... relatively easy to work on and runs quite smoothly and being a Hatt, should be a nice install with engine room instrumentation as well :) ... need imperial sized spanners...
You know your Hat's !
I tried to post a few photos, but Photobucket isn't playing.
They look like new, only 400 hours, I know they are not as economical as modern lumps, but all those lorry drivers cant be wrong....

As Spotty's new master (&mistress) just want to thank Roy for making it such a smooth and easy purchase. Restores one's faith in humanity to be able to conduct business in such a way and with such an honourable and friendly chap. Looking forward to sharing a few libations with you in the future and hope you enjoy Spotty6 as much as you obviously have Spotty5.

Hearty congratulations on your new boat. Where will you be keeping her?

Congratulations... as it happens we'll be in East Cowes this Saturday night. Will keep an eye out for you. I hope they don't put us next to you as you'll be able to peer down through our roof hatches from that big girl :eek:

Congratulations Roy, only ever saw Spotty 5 from a distance, hope to see spotty 6 a bit closer. A friends Dad had a Hatteras 56 back in the mid 80's and at that time that was a ship around the Solent, remember being at Weymouth town key on one trip and the boat drew a crowd.... walking through the crowd and getting on board was memorable... always had a soft spot for them ever since...

Many Congrats to both Roy & Paul {Prhperio} with the recent purchase of your new toys - I Hope to get over to East Cowes for the weekend - Roy are your fridges any bigger btw as it looks like there may be a big turnout over the weekend - Terry ;)

If you have the manuals, that is great !! ... if not get the engine Serial No's off to dealer, and they will tell you the spects and parts that they left the factory with ... This will give you the injector timings etc., so you can buy that essential £20 injector timing tool (if you haven't aready got that) ... which will after a couple of hours ensure that you are in-tune and keeping those fuel bills as low as practicable...

Hi Roy

Good to see you the other day at SBS. Glad the Hatteras plan came off. I'll make a plan to buzz over from Beaulieu oneday if I can find a boat to borrow!

All the best
Tom

Thanks for all the good wishes, Saturday looks to be shaping up nicely :) A Big thanks goes to Paul (Prherio) for making the sale a complete pleasure. Alf, Thanks for the great advice.
