Spotted this... perfect livaboard long range cruiser which isn't a Nordhavn?

well... in a parallel universe if I wanted a boat to live on, this would do me. I can get my car, my helicopter and a little rib on board, all in 52ft. Magic!

Lol

Still a newby but wouldn't that rock-n-roll especially on a beam sea - is this the right term from when you are getting battered from the side?

Needless to say I love her. Especially the interior. She has a very low draft, only 1.37 m so she is not a full displacement?

glad I am not the only one, and yes the interior is so far removed from the modern day minimalistic approach I love it, unashamed comfy is what she is! She would be full displacement, but indeed low draft... nordhavn 55 is 2m draft, 50 1.6m so at 1.37 she will have some ballast that's for sure.

Its stunning inside and some might think old fashioned in décor but I love the interior too and I'm ashamed to say, nicer than my house.

I love it, although the phrase "access to crew quarters is via the car deck" is not what you would expect to read regarding a 52ft boat!

Think I would get rid of the Helo though, otherwise I would be tempted to get a license and use it and I don't see that ending well.

And so what could you replace the helo with? How about a miniature version of the Trevi fountain. Any other ideas, swimming pool etc.?

Fantastic :)

A wood burning stove in there I can see as well as monkey wall paper in the bathroom, a hot tub.... this baby is the gift that keeps on giving.

Take off the helicopter, tone it down a bit and you've got the makings of some very long journeys.

Henry :)

BUT.......is he taking off.... or landing?

Taking off would be a piece of cake:D
The helicopter does have floats and there is another crane on the helipad

But it might not have the reach and the blurb says the deck is reinforced

...is that, or is that not a toweling toilet seat cover?

... I have not seen one of those since I used to stay with my Gran in the late 1970's. From memory she had a matching spare toilet roll cover which used to sit on the windowsill.
