Spot the careless incompetence.

Moored at Marlow on the park last night - lots of long tedious T&Cs posters on rubbish bins re mooring conditions but none with charges shown.
Notice board by gate to park has small notice saying £13.
Nobody bothered to come round and collect and reckon they lost at least £150+ Last night.
we went to pay at leisure centre this morning and they insisted charge is now £14 and signs nothing to do with them!
Think this makes Marlow the most expensive now by some way .

Not bovvered about the sovereign - inconsequential petty cash in today’s scheme of things.
The T&Cs are interesting great two pages diatribe posted on every rubbish bin - including clause B5 wot says yer boat must be clean and tidy - doubt anyone bovvers to read

and in the spirit of fairness , it presumably means all those gin palaces with scruffy half deflated inflatables hanging from davits will also be told to move along ?

Both the EA's waterways manager and CEO live in Marlow, they can't be expected to gaze upon their beautifully well maintained river and see scruffy boats. That's what canals are for.

Glad to see the EA chiefs slumming it & they can't afford to live in an up market area like Henley!
