Spot the boats

It's an itama 75.

Dunno what 3rd pic is, but the (pink) house is villa fiorentina, generally regarded as the best house in the world. 4th is the art of kinetic

Are you sure it is a 75? It didn't look that long from where we were.

Yes I am sure you are right re the kinetic, she really struggled in that head sea compares to the other boat which I think is an old Hunton.

Is villa fiorentina the one that all the fuss was about over its sale to a russian oligarch but when the sale fell through he wanted his €50m deposit back but lost his battle in court and the owner gave it away to charity?

No, that would be Vila Leopolda

Yup, Lily Safra's place, widow of Edmund Safra. More visible from Villefranche than the st Jean side. The transaction that didn't go through exchanged contracts shortly before Lehman's weeknd in Sept 2008, iirc, and that's why the buyer couldn't complete

I reckon the itama is a 75 cos of the hard top but happy to be proved wrong; haven't time to check

Well, you could have guessed even when you took that pic of the stern...
You wouldn't want props that big in anything smaller! :D
Jfm got the cigar, 75 she is.

OK but she seemed about 50/60 foolish. If you count the fenders along the port wall and assume they are three of for feet in dimension and a foot apart I still don't get close to 75 ft, but happy to take your word for it :D
