Sportyak 245 - towing one

Thanks all for the comments, the 245 remains on my shortlist although a couple of similar alternatives have come to light during the time of this thread. Interesting last comment about sailing conversion as this was an original tender requirement but nothing available that meets the other requirements.

My Tabur Yak (245) had the dagger board slot moulded in to the floor. Don't know if present versions have the same. There was also a hole for a mast in the "Foredeck". I used an abandoned wind surf rig I found on a Dominican/Haiti beach. Had to open up the dagger board moulding with a saw. Tabur Yak did offer a proper sailing rig as optional extra, but, as usual delivery costs stopped me from getting one.
