Sports Cruiser Recommendation

Hi folks
Im new to this forum but here goes. I have a 25ft beneteau sloop but am thinking of getting into motor crusiers. What would handle choppy water off southern Ireland? Acquador, Regal, Sea Ray, Bavaria in the sub 28ft market?

It Depends On If You Want A Planing Or Semi Displacement Hull. A Mate Of Mine Just Bought His Third Sea Ray 290 ,This Time With Twin Diesels- Great Sea Boat With Plenty Speed !

The Cruisers 280 might be the answer. Pointy, white and (at least in the US where it is about $100K) cheap.

As long as you don't mind petrol.

It doesn't have to be petrol, there are a couple of 280 Twin diesel versions for sale near me.
We were on one of them a couple of weeks ago, very nice boat.s.

Cruisers Yachts often have a "special" on where you can get the 280 for $100K, but only with petrols.

Yep, you're right though, you can pay more and get diesels.
