oh yes that reminds me the crockery rack is falling off the bulkhead.

Ooooh! There's posh! Crockery rack is it. I aspire to a crockery rack!

(All said with tongue firmly in cheek Dylan. My sailing finances are, like yours, sadly lacking. Make do and mend being the order of the day. The posh new words being recycling, green etc.)

If you would like to come to wells and show me how to fill the hole in the bottom of the boat and replace the bearing in the stern tube then I can film you doing it and I will know next time these vital jobs should be achieved

oh yes - and the roller reefing, new genoa, water pump for the gally (okay sink and single gas ring), wiring loom, plug for the tillerpilot and sadly the bog seat.

Its all very well for you people with your new(ish) boats to criticise but those of us who are seeking to preserve (patch up) a bit of yachting history.... and sail around Britain at the same time have a lot on our plates - oh yes that reminds me the crockery rack is falling off the bulkhead.

:D

Dylan, if you only knew!! I think my 40 y.o Snappie was even cheaper than the slug and I can bodge it with the best of em so it's all in jest. :)

I think my Snappie may feel the Slugs pain. :D

Is there anyone local to Wells that can lend a bit of a hand? It may be a little while before I can get up to Norfolk.
