Hi all,
Going to be spending a week in October between Split / Dubrovnik... I know some (BartW?) have been based in Croatia and hear it mentioned regularly here.

Any contacts for day-boat bareboat charter? We bareboat chartered a RIB in Malta not so long ago and loved it! Know the weather won't be too warm in October (suits us fine... we're Irish!).

Thanks all

I've chartered bareboat from Split to Dubrovnik a few times, and there are plenty of bareboat charter choices in Split. All online. I used Ultra and found them to be excellent, but there are plenty of others you can google.

I'm doing Split-Dubrovnik in early August this year, crewed charter, and will keep a look out for charter firms, but that might be too late for you. Hopefully you should be able to find what you need pretty easily. Great boating location.

Hi J,
Many thanks for the advise and the offer of lookout. We are travelling early October, so if you're in the area in August and think of it, i'd be very grateful for any contacts!

We're happy with an approx. 6M RIB as just 2 of us. When we were in Malta we didn't even cover huge ground, we just went from bay to bay jumping in the water etc. - It would be nice to do that again in 'exotic' waters (compared to Ireland anyway!).

It would be great to have a direct contact rather than agency (which is what keeps popping up online) - 'Go direct' is always my motto.

I'm guessing Split would be more active for charters, but is it the best cruising ground? As mentioned, we just like to skip from bay to bay, take in the views (ie. cliffs, if possible), stop in for lunch and generally muck about.
