Spinlock EJ

Anyone have a Spinlock EJ series tiller extension? Are they any good?

I have a spinlock EJ900
I like it when it works. I have had one for a year, the first started sticking (the button that you press to allow it to extend would stick in the open position which was a real pain). I sent it back to spinlock and they sent a replacement by return so I was very impressed with the service. However within 3 weeks this new one disintegrated the main pin which attaches it to the tiller just came out of the unit. Again Spinlock sent a replacement by return.
So I like it when it works but I now have doubts about the quality of build having had two failures in 12 months, I hope I have been unlucky as their customer service has been excellent.
