I have a larger selection of lifejackets on board than most, though I rarely wear one myself. (16 inflatables plus I think 4 non inflatable kiddy selection)

Mrs E bought me a deck vest for my birthday. What a lovely bit of kit. They passed me by as overpriced, but it is beautifully made and well thought out.

Separate bladder, yet easy to repack. Light as standard, and packed in the jacket not dangling loose. Crotch straps and spray hood standard and built in. Rope cutting knife standard.

Lovely materials, easy buckle, harness standard.

And comfy.

Never thought I'd actually like a lifejacket. ...........
Never thought I'd consider an expensive one to be good value.......

I bought one last season and find it very comfortable to wear, however my wife was not so enamoured when she tried them.

However at LIBS we went on the Spinlock stand and I duped my wife into trying one on there. They of course fitted it properly which took the weight of her neck. One of the Chandlers was doing a very good deal on them so we cam home with one.
