I wonder how many people once this all comes to a end will decide life's too short and spend money you been saving for a raning day on a new dinghy, outboard or plotter .
That if you still have spare cash .

Your 'life's too short' bit has been on my mind more or less constantly of late. I'd put my savings into some products that were due to launch later this year. That's not happening, and the different markets for them have a common feature - they're all 'optional spending'. The economy is screwed, no one's going to buy enough of them. As an 'at risk' person I'm beginning to think that I should put everything that's left into a decent boat and clear off. I've a rapidly ageing Mum who I've seen weekly until all this happened, can't visit now, so I might as well be somewhere more interesting that the kids could have fun coming to.

Racist and factually incorrect, but sadly reflective of the some here who still yearn longingly for the 70s. I'm glad real life sailing is more enlightened than one would think it from this forum. My Chinese colleague has sailed around the world but I don't think he'd waste time hanging out with the dinosaurs here.
