Speeding on the Broads..........again!!!!!!!

Lazer guns need a flat surface to aim for, for example car number plate.

There are not so many flat surfaces on the front of a boat, I would expect he older x-band/Ka band radar guns would be used.

The police have to be trained, it is not that easy, if challenged I doubt the broads police fines will stand up.

I will be following your lead, even before receiving this years tolls and notice of the speeding issue, i had decided this season would be my last on the broads. Haven Marina here i come!

I am not convinced it is going to cause to much problems with not lifting. The implications for the commercial shipping (albeit not much these days) would make it really difficult for long term closures. I will perhaps put a call in to Suffolk CC to see if they can shed any light on it.

But no i am doing one more year on the broads to allow me to iron out any teething problems with my new engine. But next year i will be gone, speeding, tolls and the last god knows how many years on the broads means time for a change of scenery!

Like it there. We are members and know people on the pontoons. Can get rough in there though, especially during the winter. Haven ok too.
