I don't know much about Monterey performance, but if you are unsure go & see Lester in EC leisurecraft (inside main sales area of EBY) He got to the bottom of a performance issue on our boat, Knows what he is doing, Make sure it is Lester though, & not one of his lads that nicked my berth today. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Will be down on Monday if you are around, Oh , & thanks she is rather nice, & finally getting last few bugs ironed out, with the help of Essex.

Had a 2001 Monterey 262 with 250 HP Volvo Penta V8 5.7L engine. Never took us more than 10 secs to get on plane, even with 4 adults on it and w/o leg trim.

1. you do have the leg fully trimmed down when you start off don't you?
2. top speed does seem a little low but if you are heading into a breeze and against the tide it may not be to far out - I would guesstimate 35knots for that combination with a BIII drive - maybe 33 with a BII. What revs is the engine pulling at wot?
