Hello all,
Upon leaving a port, and assuming there are no other boats around (wash), at what point do you throttle up and get on the plane? My pilot book says there is a speed limit 'on the approaches to' my local marina. Where does that start? At the safe water mark?
Specifically the area I am referring to is coming out of the Walton backwaters.
Sorry if this is a really basic question. We just sold our Centaur and have moved to a motorboat so we are missing some of the 'local knowledge'.
Cheers, -Jason
