Spectrum licensing hoax email

If you get an email purporting to be from Ofcom with a Word doc attached, don't open the document! Delete the email, it's fake (Ofcom are aware of it)

Never open attachments anyway..
Anything genuine tells you to log onto your own account via your usual website.. They do not include links.

Unfortunately, attachments are a routine part of day to day email use for many users and thus a vulnerability that can only be avoided through very close vigilance.

This one is particularly clever because it is well written, looks on the face of it authentic and had I just submitted an application or change to Spectrum Licensing even I would probably have fallen for it (and internet security used to be one of my areas of expertise)
