Just picked up a new portable dvd player from wollies thanks to a fellow forumite with rather good reception on his flat screen tv /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif . Its just what i was after for under £100 . The picture is great and the sound is ok but i had plans for the sound and its worked . Harman/Kardon do a sound system for around £100 that beats most ive heard . 1 Bass bin and 2 tweaters ( directional ) clear plastic and look cool with a small jack to plug into most thingies .I plugged it in and woohoo its a must !

Where did you get the DVD and the sound system as I'm in the market?

I may be tempted by one of THESE for the boat. Interesting bit is the FM transmission, meaning I could pick up the sound through the boats speakers. Should allow me to store a load of albums on a couple of Gig tokens and play that through the stereo as well.

I got the dvd player from woolworths and the sound sticks and bass bin from the imac warehouse .
