One job on the 'New' boat was sorting out the fairly new looking water heater. Water connections, gas pipe all had to be re-done. At last.....contact all worked well good supply of very hot water....then drip drip drip... panel off... heat exchanger has been 'repaired' with a great big dollop of filler or something similar. Have tried to locate suppliers of heat exchangers without success. Any pointers please??

Hmm - I didn't think Rinnai gas water heaters were approved for use on boats? Certainly when I tried to get one some years back I was told they can no longer be used on boats, can't remember why.......

There are some issues with all these types of heaters on boats. The Rinnai has to be installed with a flue if more than one outlet is used.
Yes, spot on!! exactly where predicted. I think that the fibre glass will not come off too easilly to effect a repair now but I will give it a whirl!
Thanks guys.
