Have always felt i should have a spare set of keys for the green monsters lurking under the cockpit.
Any suggestions where to get them cut and how much?

I got my copies from Timpson the shoe repairers....Failed to tell him they were from a boat and covered up my office suite so I looked poor....cost a pound or so.

CIA (Christie Intruder Alarms) in Waterlooville did ours when we had the green monster, on the advice of the Port Solent Volvo place.

not for a volvo but i had 2 small keys cut the other week (one ignition, one cabin) the guy in the key cutting place says "these look like boat keys", i foolishly agreed and could see the price going up in his head..... £7.00 for the 2
had another spare set cut nearer home and they cost me £3.80 for the same 2!!!!

Volvo Keys
Having had the misfortune to lose an ignition key from a previous boat, which caused some serious problems as we were about 150 miles away from our home berth, I always now have 3 sets; one main, one at the marina office and a set hidden on board.
With a new boat with Volvo D6s I was pleasantly surprised to find they only cost about £12.00 each from the Volvo dealership. I was told that they were too difficult to get cut anywhere else but may be very wrong but even so it was v easy to get some from Volvo.
