Spare day in SIBS week

Have a spare day at SIBS short break and would like to visit one or more of the local marina / s.hand boat shows/ water side homes locations with moorings.
Would welcome some ideas or recommends from local forumites for suitable locations in the sibs area (we're in a taxi as the 'lear jet' flight back - bmi baby £3.40p - doesn't leave until evening).
Staying at Holiday Inn Express (basement).
Marina side lunch stop would be a bonus on-route.
Any sensible recommends for the day ??

There is a free shuttle from SIBS to Swanwick marina and back where the second hand boat show is on, there is also a marina (and a couple more) believe it or not and a couple of Alladin cave Chandlery shops (you could borrow my VIP loyalty discount card /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif), but by then you will be sick of that kind of stuff.

Ocean village, Hythe, Poole. The Haven Hotel, sandbanks in Poole is great for a drink with a view. It's a great area, make the most of it. As GC1 says take the free shuttles.
