Sowester

I am trying to locate Sowester who I believe have been taken over by Simpson-Lawrence. I can't find any directory listing either on the Internet or on the MBM directory. Anybody know their UK contact details

May be wrong but I thought the assets got bought out by Plastimo, or am I mixing them up with XM?

Simpson Lawrence Distribution was sold by <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.clyde-group.com>Clyde Marine plc</A> (the parent company) to Sowester.

Sowester became Sowester Simpson-Lawrence and then went bust.

Clyde Marine plc retained the Simpson Lawrence brand name and they continue to manufacture windlasses with that name. They are distributed through Lewmar who are also part of Clyde Marine.

Were you after anything specific because a few of Sowester's products (alloy deck gear) are again being made to the same specifications?

Amazingly I still keep turning up odd items marked with the Sowester logo from the depths of the chandlery and store room, I think some are even breeding back there.
If there's anything specific you're after let me know and I'll try to source it for you.
