Does anybody know where I can get a new (or second hand) one from?

The base looks identical to this one:

Failing that, are there any others which have the bolt holes in the same place?

What is plan C? Are they repairable, and if so how and by whome?

Oh. They have taken it off since this morning! Stock is 0 and little chance of re-supply.

I eventually managed to track one down by looking through pages of googlesearch images. Found it in Marinescene.co.uk.

Thanks for the Trafalgar Yacht Services link. Looks potentially useful.

One thing I could do with a bit more help on is the stanchion itself. It got scratched down to shiny metal. The stanchion is an alloy, but I have no idea if it is anodised, or whether it is just a bit of oxydised metal that has been sctratched off. Presumably if the latter I could just tidy the scratch up with some wet and dry, but if anodised I either need to get it re-coated or replaced?
