Hi all, do any of you kind people have info or where to find info on slipways in southern spain n the med (malaga to almeria).
We are looking to retire to spain and become a residents and my choice of area my be swayed by nearby easily, accessible slip ways to launch a 5m boat ( although we have not bought one yet.)
I have narrowed my boat search down due mainly to the licencing bands (5m or less 15hp or less = no license required, or 6m with motor upto listed max power of boat with basic nav license approx 100 euro for 1/2 practical - no exam) ).
So it looks like a 5m/ 15hp motor fishing boat, that can take 4 pax.
We might wait until we move over before buying as I believe its a bit of a ball ache importing one and you need to have a tax receipt, what happens if its a private sale?
