Our tickets have just arrive with a map showing the entrance etc.

It's a while since our last visit where we entered close to the town quay. The entrance shown on the map seems to suggest a long walk to the pontoons.

As my wife is getting over a recent knee injury I would appreciate if anybody can point us in the right direction ;)

Unless you have a ticket that let's you in F gate (town quay) and I don't know if they will allow VIPs tickets through this gate his year then you have to go via the main one. If she has trouble walking you can get a pass to cross the roads and not go over the bridge. However by going in the main entrance you see the whole show then and all sorts of goodies !

The bridges will be a problem and I didn't anticipate this when I ordered. The pass seems like a good idea thanks.
Maybe a dealer can get us access at F gate ;)

Just wondering if the elf n safety police will be as "hot" as last year re. sitting on the wall overlooking the floating exhibits with packed lunch !!!!!!

If you explain your wife's knee to the security guys at the gate, they should let you cross the road rather than going over the bridge.
They have done that kind of thing in the past - using good old common sense.

We're staying at Grand Harbour and the map suggests its 50:50 if we can skip the bridges. Maybe Sealine will send a limo :)

Last year they had a stupid one way system on the pontoon access ramps. This meant that if you were on the pontoons and needed the loo you had to walk a very long way round to get back to the top of the ramp you came down to get to them.

You may want to visit the loo before you go to the pontoons if they are doing the same this year.
