Advance, discounted, tickets are apparently no longer available, even though the website says they are.

The offer apparently ended at midnight last night. This is not as said on the site, which says
" . . . Book your tickets cheaper in advance*, either online or by calling 0844 776 7766. . . ."
and
" . . . . Don't forget you can also purchase tickets on the door - on the day! . . . "

That is, buy your tickets at a discounted price, or pay full price at the gate.
The onward booking price links on the page are the discounted prices, not the full prices.
(They shouldn't even be public any more since they aren't now available, let alone be the primary links)
Only when one gets further on in the process does the full price emerge, to be paid.

Dunno, it looks to be a straight £15 for all. I think it is a code from Upham Brewery - you get a free pint too!

@UphamBrewery giving free pint of Punter to Exiles fans heading to Southampton Boat Show.Use code UP14 when booking

I don't / didn't see where - this page http://www.southamptonboatshow.com/2013/show_information/ticket_information.aspx is the Ticket information page from within the site and as provided on Google from the SIBS "Ticket Information - Book Your Tickets Cheaper" That's the page image in the OP posting - of course, it has now been changed. I was told categorically by the organiser's office (B.M.F) this morning that the discount applied for all non-gate purchases (as in previous years) but in fact that was also misinformation. Bit of a c*ck up all round.

Because I would be on the boat with no access to a printer, I bough a ticket online last Tuesday. Usually I would have left purchase to the day before (or same day). I DID notice the statement that prices would increase to same as gate ..... but feel sure this was NOT there when I previously looked a week or so ago??

(Last Tuesday code EX12 would have got you a regular ticket for £13 ..... but that was still more than a £12 over-60).

It's the £1.75 'fee' for printing your own ticket that really riles me :(

Upham brewery have just bought the pub in our village.

With the amount they charge for food they ought to give away free tickets!

Curious that they did not actually scan my self-printed ticket on entry. I could have printed multiple copies. But would the back-office systems have eventually caught up? ----- and of course they have my credit card details ;)

The door staff seemed very keen on everyone with a self printed ticket having filled in the contact details before letting you in. Clearly this is so they can add you to their marketing list, so we just made up some carp.

Wait to you see the program price to find what you want to view. Apply for the mortgage now!!

You will feel so good to pay so much for a booklet containing lots of adverts from others that have paid to advertise!!

Marine industry rip off again.

Yes same here. Not entirely sure what the marketing department thinks it does for the perception of their intellectual credentials insisting that you write your email address on the ticket that they emailed to you. Maybe it was a big social experiment to see what proportion of people put down their real details on forms. If it wasn't there's no way they should have let fred bloggs in monday: any idiot who's read rfc 2606 would know that was a fake email address :-)
