South west mooring locations with no waiting list

If you have a fin keel, good luck on the Exeter, however why not contact the Tamar Sailing Club or Saltash Sailing Club, I'm unsure as to the availability of moorings at the Tamar, but I'm sure that Saltash could be of help, PM me for further info.

As per my post 19 - keep up at the back !

If interested in the Exe, contact Powderham Estate. They have a web site which lists mooring availability.

And pay them a hefty premium for the transfer! I've absolutely no commercial interest but I do know a fair bit about what might be available, along with what's advertised within the SFCC. And the moorings in Lower Exe Mooring Association tend to be more sheltered. I have a mooring both there and in the Powderham areas. I was out on the river just a few hours ago, and whilst my larger boat is on the Dart, the Exe is a beautiful river with fabulous beaches and, is generally quiet but lacking convenient landing points. As always, compromises to be made.........
