Hi
I am wanting buy a couple of simple flanged or top hat shaped brass or bronze bushes for the spindle on my steering wheel. I thought it would be straightforward as initial net searches show lots of bush manufacturers but I then came to a stop as mine seem to be an unusual size. What I am trying to find is a bush with an 18mm bore and outside diameter of 22mm with a flange and about 25mm long. Lots of 18mm bore bushes but all 18mm bore seem to be 24mm OD. Could have then made from scratch I suppose but seems crazy when they are probably on a shelf somewhere-but where?

Any ideas.

36 year old Catalac-they stopped making the boats late 80,s-original bearings were nylon sleeves that were pretty poor anyway. Would prefer brass/bronze/phosphor bronze bushes for this application anyway.

Thanks for responses - Bearing Boys are the only off the shelf supplier as far as I can see on the net of flanged bearings 18mmIDx22mmOD. Pity they only do plastic in this size though. Thanks for the reference Graham_Wright!
